Store Registration Registration
In order to use some areas of this website, a user must first complete the member registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information such as their name and e-mail address. This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. It is optional for the user to provide other types of information such as pregnancy due dates and children birth dates, but these are used to provide a more personalized experience to our members. Store Registration When a user purchases a product directly from SmartMomma, collecting further information is necessary to process the order. Information such as billing and shipping address, full name, e-mail, and contact phone number is required. This information is entirely secure and kept confidential. This information is used strictly for store use only. Cookies Cookie - A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing a Unique ID for identifying our members and for a more user friendly registration. Cookies are NOT used to store financial transaction data or to place spyware or other adware on your computer. You may disable cookies if you so choose, but you may be limited in using certain functions of the site. Advertisements All advertisements on SmartMomma are controlled by the owner of the website, and will never be placed on your computer as adwear or spywear. SmartMommma takes you right to surf ad-free very seriously. While pop-up ads may be used, they will be kept to a minimum and should not interfere with your user experience. Log Files IP addresses are tracked on our message boards to protect members from spam, solicitations, and hackers. For example, if someone registered at SmartMomma using an alias for e-mail contact and/or name in order to spam our members, or hack into our server, we may check the IP of the person who made a particular post, to find out information such as where they are from so that we may find out more information through their ISP. Sharing We will not share your information with any third party vendor, but may do statistical analysis on overall site user and member demographics for advertising sales purposes. Newsletter If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we ask for contact information such as name and e-mail address. Surveys & Contests From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Security The servers used at SmartMomma are administered by a high security third party network provider. Housed within an industrial-grade, blast-resistant concrete structure, the datacenter facility conforms to the strictest physical security standards. Security measures include state-of-the-art biometric, physical and other access control devices, manned 24/7/365 security and video surveillance. Only network administrators have access into the datacenter which requires badge, keypad, and fingerprint scanning to gain entrance. All orders through the SmartMomma store are encrypted and on a secure protocol. Credit card information is kept strictly guarded. Customer Service We send all new members a welcoming e-mail to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. We take pride in responding to all customer service inquiries in a timely manner, usually within 24 hours. Correction/Updating Personal Information If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as your e-mail), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. Opt-out of SmartMomma Advertising Delivery SmartMomma collects Log Data from web sites and other digital media assets that participate in Measurement Program. This Log Data includes information such as your computer's IP address, referring HTTP location, current HTTP location, search string, time of access and other statistics. This data is used to provide market research services and content and advertising delivery services to our customers. Our clients use our Market Research Services to understand their current and historical audience characteristics and we retain Log Data for this purpose indefinitely.
