The EcoClassica I is similar to our Classica I mattress in terms of firmness and durability, but the foam is made with plant based materials that replaces much of the petroleum used in the normal manufacturing process of foam. The foam is manufactured in a way that uses less energy and reduces carbon emissions into the atmosphere. Damask cloth sleep surface cover with a wetproof backing. This mattress furthers the commitment form Colgate to create more environmentally friendly goods.

Colgate is now Greenguard Certified!

Colgate's product line of crib mattresses have been awarded the GREENGUARD Children and Schools certification for indoor air quality. The Children and Schools certification, GREENGUARD's strictest standard, was designed for products used in daycare, K-12 and healthcare facilities and address the unique sensitivities of children and other sensitive population groups. This standard places additional limits on chemicals that are known to adversely affect child development.
